It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.2) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Northeastern India), latitude 26.79°N, longitude 92.41°E, depth (44) kilometers, about (216) miles northwest of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (08)hr (51)min (23)sec M.S.T on 28th April , 2021.
