It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (7.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Near East Coast of Honshu, Japan), latitude 37.56°N, longitude 141.22°E, depth (97) kilometers, about (3080) miles northeast of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (21)hr (06)min (39)sec M.S.T on 16th March, 2022.
