29-6-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (27) miles northeast of Mawlaik), latitude 23.79°N, longitude 94.81°E, depth (50) kilometers, about (43) miles southeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (13)hr (06)min (10)sec M.S.T on 21^st March, 2022.
