29-6-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A strong earthquake of magnitude (6.2) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Timor Region), latitude 8.39°S, longitude 127.24°E, depth (84)kilometers, about (2745) miles southeast of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (09)hr (06)min (07)sec M.S.T on 27^th May, 2022.
