27-7-2024: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining Costal areas of Bangladesh and Gangetic West Bengal, India intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand and North Odisha, India during next 12 hrs.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (14) miles northwest of Mingin), latitude 23.01°N, longitude 94.33°E, depth (115) kilometers, about (54) miles northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (13)hr (26)min (59)sec M.S.T on 30th April, 2023.
