SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below January average temperature in Rakhine State, 2°C below January average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State and 2°C above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kachin, Chin, Eastern Shan States, 3°C to 4°C above January average temperatures in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 1.6°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 4.0°C each in Loilin and Mongyang, 5.3°C in Hakha, 5.4°C in Heho, 6.8°C each in Tiddim and Pinlaung, 8.6°C in Pyinoolwin, 8.7°C in Myitkyina, 9.1°C in Taunggyi, 9.8°C in Putao and 10.5°C in Nyaungshwe. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.04 inch in Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th January 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
