SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below February average temperatures in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State and 2°C above February average temperature in Kachin State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.1°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 4.0°C each in Hakha and Heho, 4.7°C in Pyinoolwin, 5.4°C each in Loilin and Mongyang, 5.8°C in Tiddim, 6.2°C in Pinlaung, 8.6°C in Taunggyi, 8.8°C in Nyaung Shwe,  8.9°C in Myitkyina and 9.0°C in Minesat.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd February 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthyi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Northern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Kayah, Chin, Shan States.
