BAYINFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression has crossed to the interior regions of the Southwest of Mongla(Bangladesh) has moved North- Northeastwards and continous crossing the interior regions of the Southwest of Dhaka(Bangladesh).Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 30th May 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kachin, Rakhine States and isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Magway, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Frequent squalls with very rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 40-45 mph. Wave height will be about 14-16 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Occasional squalls with rough to very rough sea will be experienced in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about 10-14 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavy rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States.
