BAYINFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Depression that crossed to the interior regions of the North of Dhaka (Bangladesh) has moved North- Northeastwards and weakened into a Low Pressure Area to the interior regions of Assam (India). Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 31st May 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough to very rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35-40 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 10-14 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
