BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and moderate to strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 4th June 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
