BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw,Yangon Regons, Chin, States, scattered in Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon, Easthern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likeli at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Squall with rough seas are likely at times in off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 25 mph. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in off and along Rakhine Coast.
