BAYINFERENCE: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (North Andhra Pradesh - South Odisha coasts, India) still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 14th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan States.
