BAYINFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the depression over the Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal(Off South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts, India) has moved Westwards and reached over Northwest Bay of Bengal close to South Odisha Coast. It is centered at about 420 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Sittwe (Myanmar), 35 Nautical miles Southwest of Puri, 35 Nautical miles East of Gopalpur and 100 Nautical miles Northeast of Kalingapatnam(India). Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm “BUALOI” over the West Philippines sea is likely to move west-northwestwards, may reach South China Sea during next 12 hours. Thereafter it is likely continue to move west-northwestwards and may intensify into a Typhoon and cross over the northern coastal areas of Vietnam during next 48 hours.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Sagaing Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
