BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Special Features: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm “BUALOI” over the South China Sea has moved West-Northwestwards and intensified into a Typhoon “BUALOI”. It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and cross over the northern coastal areas of Vietnam as a Severe Tropical Storm “BUALOI” on 28-9-2025 of night, buundary areas of Vietnam and Laos  as a Tropical Storm “BUALOI” on 29-9-2025, a Tropical Depression over Laos on 30-9-2025.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 28th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah,Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon , Rakhine Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.  

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Naypyitaw, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States.
