BAYINFERENCE: Southwest monsoon has been withdrawn from the Central Myanmar areas. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Special Features: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Typhoon “BUALOI” over the South China Sea has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 50 Nautical miles North-Northeast of Da Nang and 170 Nautical miles Southeast of Vinh (Vietnam).
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershowers with isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Shan States.
