BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Special Features: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm “BUALOI” continue to crossing boundary areas of Vietnam and Laos has moved West-Northwestwards and continue to crossing internoir parts of Laos. It is forecast likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and drowngrade Tropical Depression and may continue to cross internoir parts of Laos on tonight, boundary areas of Laos and Myanmar as a Tropical Depression on morning of 30-9-2025.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 30th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Rakhine, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in off and along Rakhine Coast.
