BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
Special Features: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm “BUALOI” has crossed over the internoir parts of Laos and then has downgraded into the Tropical Depression, Yesterday night. It has moved West-Northwestwards and has downgraded into a Low Pressure Cell over the boundary areas of Laos and Myanmar. It is forecast likely continue to move Westwards and drowngrade into a wind wave during next 12 hrs and it is likely continue to move over Shan, Kayah States and Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions, Myanmar.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 30th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Chin, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Shan States.
