BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the well marked low pressure area over the Northeast Bay and adjoining Bangladesh coasts has moved North-Northwestwards and weakened into a low pressure area over the Bangladesh coasts. It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and gradually weaken near Bangladesh coasts Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Typhoon “KALMAEGI” over the South China Sea has moved West-Northwestwards still persists. It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may reach into the Vietnam Coast on night of 6-11-2025.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
