BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm(Gaja) over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Southwestwards. It is centered at about (145)miles East of Chennai (India) and about (100)miles East-Northeast of Nagapattinam (India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 16th November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough sea are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)mph. Wave height will be about (8-10)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
