SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region, Kachin and Eastern Shan States and isolated in Yangon Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) below November average temperature in Northern Shan State, (2°C) below November average temperature in Lower Sagaing Region, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Bago Region and Eastern Shan State, (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Kayin and Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha, (7°C) in Thipaw and (8°C) each in Naungcho and Mogoke.The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Central-Yangon (0.98)inch, Putao (0.20)inch, Manchanbaw (0.12)inch and Myeik (0.08)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean. It is forecast to move Westwards during next (24)hours. Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm (Toraji) over the South China Sea downgrade in to a Tropical Depression. It is centered at about (140)miles East-Northeast of Ho Chi Minh (Vitenam) and it is moving West-Northwestwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in Upper Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Southern Shan and Kayah States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (2-5) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.   

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
