SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Saging and Bago Regions, Kachin and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Kachin and Northern Shan States, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Kayin and Mon States and about November average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Heho and Ramthlo, (6°C) each in Putao and Tiddim, (7°C) each in Thipaw, Loilin and Matupi. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Thaton (0.55)inch, Kawkareik (0.35)inch and Khayan (0.16)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm (Usagi) over the South China Sea has further intensified into Typhoon (Usagi) and centered at about (140) miles East-Southeast of Hochimin (Vietnam). It is forecast to move Westwards.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago and Yangon Regions and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States.
