18-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka has reached over Comorin area. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, a few cloud over the Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Mon State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway and Yangon Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Northern Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Southern Shan States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Kayin and Mon States and about November average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (4°C) each in Heho and Ramthlo, (6°C) each in Loilin, Tiddim and Matupi, (7°C) each in Putao, Thipaw and Namsam. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Thaton (0.51)inch and Paung (0.39)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm (Usagi) over the South China Sea is centered at about (45)miles South-Southeast of Hochimin (Vietnam) and move to West-Northwestwards slowly.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Yangon Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States.
