SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region, Mon State and weather has been generally fair in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Northern Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Eastern Shan, Chin and Rakhine States, (3°C) above December average temperatures in Bago Region, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Hakha, (6°C) each in Thipaw, Heho, Tiddim and Ramthlo, (8°C) each in Putao and Mogoke. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Kawthaung (0.08)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th December, 2018: Light rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States.
