SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below December average temperature in Northern Shan State, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Mandalay and Bago Regions, Kayah State, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Kayin and Mon States and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (4°C) in Ramthlo, (5°C) in Heho, (6°C) in Tiddim and (7°C) in Thipaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th December, 2018: Light rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions,Chin and Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region and Mon State.
