SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Chin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below December average temperatures in Yangon Region, (2°C) below December average temperatures in Mandalay Region, Northern Shan and Kayah States and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha, (1°C) in Heho, (2°C) each in Pinlaung and Ramthlo, (4°C) in Loilin and (5°C) each in Putao, Namsam and Pyinoolwin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th December, 2018: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
