SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay, Magway, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon, (Northern and Southern)Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below January average temperature in Rakhine State, 2°C below January average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Chin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 0.0°C in Hakha, 2.4°C in Heho, 3.6°C in Pyinoolwin, 4.3°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 4.8°C in Tiddim, 5.0°C each in Pinlaung and Mongyang, 5.2°C in Loilin, 6.4°C in Putao and 6.6°C in Myitkyina.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20thJanuary 2025: Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
