BAYINFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, a low pressure area over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal on 2-10-2025 and may cross into the South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts on 3-10-2025. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 1st October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Chin States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Regions and Kayah, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kachin States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Rahine,Easthern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about (9-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
