22-10-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Tamil Nadu coast, India) still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and may across North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.6) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Andaman Islands, India Region), latitude 10.56°N, longitude 91.60°E, depth (9)kilometers about (530) miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (17)hr (19)min (27)sec M.S.T on 24th August, 2018.
