SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and scattered in Kachin, Shan States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (3°C) below January average temperature in Chin State, (2°C) below January average temperature in Eastern Shan State and (2°C) above January average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Rakhine State, (5°C) to (6°C) above January average temperatures in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan(North and South), Kayah States, (8°C) above January average temperature in Naypyitaw and about January average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Kayin, Mon States. The significant night temperatures were (-3°C) in Hakha, (0°C) in Ramthlo, (6°C) each in Kengtung, Mindat and Tiddim and (7°C) in Mongyang. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.12) inch in Kengtung, (0.08) inch in Naungcho and (0.04) inch each in Putao and Loilin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th January, 2021: Rain will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kayah State and scattered in Kachin, Shan States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
