26-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 415 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 405 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 430 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, weather has been generally fair in Lower Sagaing Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Bago Region and Kayah State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Hakha and (6°C) each in Loilin and Naungcho. The noteworthy amounts of rainfalls recorded were Maubin (0.67)inch, Myaungmya (0.24)inch and Coco Island (0.04)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, the deep depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved to Northwest wards and further intensified into a cyclonic strom “Nada” over Southwest Bay and adjoning Southeast Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (415)miles Southeast of Chennai (India), (395)miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and (245)miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee (Srilanka). It is forecast to move West-Northwest wards. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st December, 2016: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of light increase of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Shan States.
