29-10-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and crossed Andhra Pradesh Coast, near South Kakinada, India. It is likely continue to move Northwestwards and downgrade into a Cyclonic Storm during next 6 hours and gradually weaken into a Depression during next 12 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the

past (24) hours,weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi

Regions, Kachin, Shan, Kayah,Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the

remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) above January

average temperature in Kayah State and about January average temperatures in

the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were

(3°C) in Hakha and, (6°C) each in Namsam and Pinlaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and

generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st February, 2017: Weather will be

partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah,

Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain in Shan State.
