30-6-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (26) miles northwest of Mongping), latitude 21.55°N, longitude 98.67°E, depth (4) kilometers, about (61) miles west-northwest of Keng Tung seismological observatory was recorded at (16)hr (59)min (32)sec M.S.T on 18^th May, 2022.
