 24-7-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move towards West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha Coasts, India during next 36 hours. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Cyclonic Storm “DANA” Condition

According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm “DANA” that  crossed North Odisha and West Bengal Coasts between Puri and Sagar Island close to Dhamara(India) has moved North-Northwestwards and reached the interior of Odisha and weaken into a Cyclonic Storm “DANA”. It is likely to move Northwestwards and continue may cross the interior of Odisha and gradually weaken.
