29-6-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (19) miles east of Tonzang), latitude 23.54°N, longitude 93.98°E, depth (21) kilometers, about (51) miles south-southwest of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (01)hr (50)min (56)sec M.S.T on 7^th September, 2022.
