BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is  vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th May 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Chin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Magway, Upper Sagaing,  Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Southern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Frequently squalls with rough to vigorous seas will be experience off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about 10 - 14 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavy rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 27th May 2025:                             One or two rain or thundershowers with may be heavyfalls at times. Degree of certainty is 100%.
