         According to the observations at 09:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression that crossed to the interior regions of the Southwest of Dhaka (Bangladesh) has moved North- Northeastwards and weakened into a Depression. It is continuing to cross the interior regions of the Northwest of Dhaka (Bangladesh).

Forecast
             It is likely continue to move North-Northeastwards and weaken into a Low Pressure Area during next (24) hours. 

            Due to the Depression, rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls during today morning to 2-6-2025.
 Frequent squalls with very rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 40-45 mph. Wave height will be about 14-16 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Occasional squalls with rough to very rough sea will be experienced in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about 9-13 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

           People should be awared the natural disasters such as the heavy rainfall with strong wind, thunder, Lightning strike, lightning, hails, flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and inland water transport and domestic flight.
