BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 11th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Northern Shan States.
