SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayin, Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Mon, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 5.39 inches in Hkamti, 3.70 inches in Putao, 2.20 inches in Tiddim, 1.97 inches in Machanbaw, 1.83 inches in Mong Kung, 1.14 inches in Kyangin(Seiktha), 0.71 inch in Mongyang, 0.52 inch each in Kangyidaunt and Thabaung and 0.51  inch in Ngathaichaung.

BAYINFERENCE:  According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (Off North Andhra Pradesh - South Odisha coasts, India) still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Kayah, Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayin, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan States.
