3-9-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to further intensify during next 24 hrs. Thereafter, it is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross Odisha, India, during next 48 hrs. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar latitude 19.68°N, longitude 96.18°E, depth (10) kilometers about (7) miles south-southeast of Naypyitaw seismological observatory was recorded at (19)hr (32)min (32)sec M.S.T on 27^th June, 2018.
