12-9-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area has formed over the Northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal(Off South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts, India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (7) miles north of Thantlang), latitude 22.79°N, longitude 93.43°E, depth (34) kilometers, about (15) miles northwest of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (09)hr (44)min (07)sec M.S.T on 21st May, 2022.
