30-6-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (7) miles north of Thantlang), latitude 22.79°N, longitude 93.43°E, depth (34) kilometers, about (15) miles northwest of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (09)hr (44)min (07)sec M.S.T on 21^st May, 2022.
