29-6-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards across North Odisha and West Bengal, India. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.9) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (7) miles west of Mingin), latitude 22.88°N, longitude 94.39°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (46) miles east-northeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (04)hr (36)min (19)sec M.S.T on 15^th September, 2022.
