BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th July, 2017: Rain or thundershowers scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Magway Region,and Shan States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin and Kayah States and widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Bago, Yangon , Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon -Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Seas will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (10-13)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, along Mon - Taninthayi Coast and (6 - 8)feet in Rakhine Coast.
