30-6-2025: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh coasts now lies over Coastal area of West Bengal. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards and continue across West Bengal, North Odisha and Jharkhand, India during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04th August, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon.
