BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Special Features: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Severe Troipical Storm“(WUTIP)” over near west coast of the Hainan Island, China has reached over the Gulf Of Tonkin. It is likely to move Northeastwards and may reach near coast of Southern China during next 18 hrs.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 14th June 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing Regions and Kayah,(Northern and Eastern) Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Sagaing,  Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay,Bago, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 9-12 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 6-9 feet off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavy rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States.
