According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to become more marked during next 36 hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal ‌and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

                  The water levels of Ayeyarwady River are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (4-9) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay,  Sagaing, Pakokku and Nyaung Oo, and to rise above the present water levels by about (1-3½) feet at Chauk, Minbu, Magway,  Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (5-8) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about (10-15) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
