28-10-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards and reached over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal still persists. It is centered at about 585 Nautical miles West of Coco Island (Myanmar), 195 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Chennai(India), 160 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and intensify into Severe Cyclonic Storm during next 6 hours and cross Andhra Pradesh Coast during next 24 hours. Weather is Cloudy over the West central Bay of Bengal, a few cloud to partly cloudy  Andaman Sea  and lsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise about (5-7) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin, about (3-5) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu and Magway and about (2-3) feet Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the first (10) days of August.

          The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise about (6-8) feet at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin and about (4-6) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa during the first (10) days of August.
