13-9-2025: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (Off North Andhra Pradesh - South Odisha coasts, India) still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for First (10) days of October 2018

          The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (2-3) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin, and about (1-2) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku and Nyaung Oo and forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (2-3) feet at Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (2-3) feet at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, and about (1-2) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
