          The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (2-4) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin, and forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (1-3) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo and Chauk, and about (3-5)feet at Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (1-3) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about (3-5) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
