8-1-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has move West-Northwestwards and no lies over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean. It is centered at about 685 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 340 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 535 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay,  partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

            The water levels of Ayeyarwady River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (3-6) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin, about (1-3) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu and Magway, and to fall below the present water levels about (2-4) feet at Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (3-6) feet at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
