27-7-2024: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha, India has weaken into a Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Third (10) days of March 2020

      The water levels of Ayeyarwady River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (½-1) foot at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu and Katha, and to fall below the present water levels by about (½) foot at Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu and Magway, and to rise above the present water levels by about (½) foot  at  Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

      The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to rise above the present water levels by about (½) foot at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and to fall below the present water levels by about (½) foot  at  Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
